Blizzard kindly gave us a way to /ignore people who are spamming chat, but they didn't think about how equally irritating it can be to have emotes spammed near you. They have yet to implement a way to combat that little irritant. Of course, the best way to get rid of something that is irritating you is to kill it and eat it. So alas, poor chicken, you have clucked your last.
CLUCK! Soup
8 Servings | Prep Time: 2 Hours 30 Minutes | Cook Time: 30 Minutes | Artisan
- 1 Whole Chicken
- 6 Carrots
- 6 stalks Celery
- 1 large Onion
- 1 tsp Rosemary
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Parsley
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 4 Bay leaves
- 10 oz egg noodles
Craft: Put the whole chicken (minus the innards) in a large pot. Fill pot with enough water to cover the chicken. Cover and bring to boil. Let it simmer for about 2 1/2 hours. Pull out the chicken and let it cool. Do not throw out the water. Shred the chicken, throw away the bones and skin. Put the chicken back into the broth. Add the diced carrots, celery, and onions. Add the seasonings. You will usually need to add a few more cups of water, or you can use chicken broth as well. Let it simmer for as long as you want, add the noodles about 10 minutes before you eat.
Strategies: You can make this dinner in a much shorter time frame if you buy the chicken pre-cooked and use store bought chicken broth, but I am warning you, it will not taste nearly as good. Also, do not add the noodles too early or they will turn to mush.
